Choosing flowers for a funeral service can be difficult so we have created a range of designs appropriate for the occasion. If you are choosing flowers for the casket we have images of four styles that can be tailor-made to suit the funeral service and the personality of the loved one who has passed away. Native flowers are a popular choice and reflect a love of the Australian bush and gardening. White flowers are the most common choice and reflect purity and elegance. All roses in any shade can be lovely or you can choose a cover of all fresh seasonal flowers in your choice of colours.

If you are choosing flowers as tribute to send to a funeral or memorial service a circular wreath of flowers is a beautiful gift. Available in many colour choices a wreath can be tailor made to represent a corporate, club or institution. Other designs suitable as a tribute include a standing design like the Heavenly or Ivory Serenity. Any flower is suitable for a funeral but some flowers have traditionally been more associated with respect and remembrance. These include oriental lilies, roses, carnations and orchids. In some cultures chrysanthemum flowers are associated with grief and sadness.

Pearsons Florist have their own fleet of dedicated drivers so that we can guarantee your flowers will arrive on time. It is important that flowers arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the funeral or memorial service. This allows the funeral directors to place the flowers appropriately on the altar. Casket flowers traditionally travel to the service on the casket so must be delivered to the funeral home at least 4 – 6 hours prior to the service.
