  4. Father's Day

    Father's Day

    Dad.

Generous. Dependable. And a little less predictable than we give him credit for! After years of watching him tinkering with this tools, we’ve started to see him playing dolls with the little ones instead … His Sunday cycles with the gents are sometimes replaced with “salutes to the sun” with Mum – Suddenly, the man who used to sit at the kitchen bench in his daggy tracksuit from the 80s, instant coffee in one hand (and vegemite on white in the other) prefers a trip to the local café, for a soy latte and slice of sourdough, donning his slim chinos – which he bought online! That’s right, the Fathers of Sydney are finally moving with the times , embracing their sensitive side, discovering a sense of style. Or ONE of the above, at the very least.

To celebrate, Pearsons Florist has JOINED THE EVOLUTION and just in time for Fathers Day too.

So you can thank Dad for all of his support while

Cymbidium Orchids are a stunning addition to almost any wintery arrangement and look fantastic with traditional flowers and wildflowers, but are especially elegant on their own with twigs and foliage.

Tulips are a perfect winter bloom – they love the cold!!

  6. St Patrick's Day

    St Patrick's Day

"What are those adorable fluffy green balls called?”

The amazing florists in our retail stores are calling it the Green Fluffy Ball Phenomenon. “I get asked about them at least 5 times a day” says Bec from our Bondi store. She’s talking about the adorable carnation variety called Green Trick Dianthus. With a fuzzy golf ball sized bloom in an almost-fluorescent-green colour, it’s no wonder they get so much attention.

Green Tricks (known as Trixies by most florists) are a unique Carnation variety, originally bred in Holland. Now available in all parts of the world - from Israel to Ecuador to Australia - the Green Trick Dianthus is a real show stopper. In fact, in won the 2008 World Flower Show for best novelty flower.

With an exceptionally long vase life of 2-4 weeks, these little green balls of joy are not only adorable, but versatile too. Admired in contemporary corporate arrangements, especially popular in vase designs, these da

    Valentine's Day Roses

Valentine's Day - SAY IT WITH ROSES!

When you can’t find a seamless way to say “I know it’s only been a few months, but I’ve got a really good feeling about this and I’m pretty sure I’m falling for you”

    Say it with roses

When “For some reason I find you the most adorable in the morning, especially when your hair is a mess” just doesn’t strike the right romantic chord,

    Say it with roses

When “Even after all these years, nobody makes me laugh the way you do when you sing off key” isn’t sensitive enough, “I’m sorry I don’t tell you I love as much as you’d like” just won’t cut it, When “Thank you for putting up with me” is too self-deprecating, “You’re sexy when you get angry” is too saucy, “You’re top notch” lacks poetic flair but &ldquo
